Unibail-Rodamco's So Ouest retail scheme opened its doors to the public on Thursday in the Parisian suburb of Levallois-Perret.

The mall, which includes the largest Marks & Spencer store in Europe, provides a total retail area of 53,000 m2, representing the largest shopping centre inaugurated in France since the delivery of Le Millenaire in April last year.

The project, representing an investment of some EUR 350 mln, involved the refurbishment and extension of the existing Eiffel shopping centre in the centre of Levallois-Perret.

The development is owned by SCI Eiffel Levallois Commerces on behalf of Unibail-Rodamco and will be managed and operated by the teams from Espace Expansion, an Unibail-Rodamco operating subsidiary.
