This is part of Season 2 that features individuals who have shown entrepreneurial flair or shaken up the corporate world and are actively reshaping the real estate industry with their vision and bold ideas.In this episode, Raphael talks about how he co- founded Converge, where he has been developing AI and sensor based technologies for the construction sector.

The young entrepreneur shares his background in tech and what his dreams are for the world when it comes to technology helping sustainability in the built environment.

He established Converge and says its mission is to build the future more efficiently, safely and sustainably, by digitising the physical reality of construction. Its technology is making a significant dent in the 400MT of CO2 wasted annually due to overdesign of concrete and is being used on some of the largest projects in the UK, Europe and Asia Pacific.

Before co-founding Converge, Scheps was an engineer at Mellanox Technologies, where he worked on high speed interconnect for supercomputers, and a researcher at the Weizmann Institute. He was also a guest lecturer on the use of agile and digital technologies for infrastructure projects at the MPA.

He has a BA in Physics and a Masters in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge. In his youth he attended the International School of Geneva.
