'This is a natural evolution; in fact, people often refer to us as Landsec already,' said Landsec chief executive, Robert Noel.

'Our updated brand reflects our culture, our people and our approach, putting the experience of our customers, communities, employees and partners at the heart of everything we do,' Noel added, referencing the company's slogan 'everything is experience'.

The REIT's £14.4 bn (€16.3bn) portfolio totals 23.2 million ft2 (2.2 million m2) and includes London icons 20 Fenchurch Street and One New Change, as well a retail destinations such as Bluewater in Kent and Trinity Leeds.

Landsec is currently developing a major 50,000 m2 mixed-use scheme at 21 Moorfields, EC2 (pictured) above Moorgate Underground station. Deutsche Bank was recently confirmed in talks to prelet office space at the site.
