UK residential specialist Amro Real Estate Partners has inked its second deal in Iberia, purchasing a property in Seville which it will redevelop into a 332-bed student housing scheme.
Financial details were not disclosed.
Amro said that works would commence on the 9,300 m2 refurbishment project this summer, with the residence expected to open in January 2021. The asset has been purchased for AmroStudents, its Iberian purpose-built student accommodation platform.
Last year Amro unveiled plans to create a 5,000-bed investment platform in Spain and Portugal and appointed CBRE to search for a student housing jv partner.
CBRE advised Amro on the purchase.
