The charities are the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, Architects for Aid, the Tom ap Rhys Pryce Memorial Trust, the Sarah Matheson Trust and LandAid. The Berkeley Group Cycle To Cannes (C2C) departs from London on 6 March and rides into Cannes on 10 March, the eve of MIPIM. Twelve months of preparation have gone into the ride and it will require an additional support staff of 32, 12 motorbike outriders, three mechanics and two lead cars.
Peter Murray, chairman of C2C, said: 'The property industry is one of the most generous in giving to charity. Marry this generosity with the significant numbers of real estate players who attend MIPIM and you have the potential to raise considerable funds for selected charities.'
