Berkeley, the UK housebuilding giant, and London residential-led mixed-use developer, Regal London, have both signed up to Cityscape Global to be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in September.

Paul Eden, co-founder of Regal, said the GCC had always been an important marketplace for the company for partnerships and inward investment. Its Dubai-based sales team is taking part in the UK pavilion, he added.

Cityscape organisers claim the event will attract around 180,000 visitors from across the globe.

‘This record-breaking event will offer a unique platform for European companies to showcase flagship projects and explore new avenues of growth in the dynamic Middle Eastern market,’ said the exhibition organisers, Tahaluf, which is owned by UK publishing and business intelligence conglomerate, Informa. Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing (MOMRAH) is sponsoring and backing the event.

Alexander Heuff, exhibition director, said, ‘The participation of major global and European investors is integral to the success of Cityscape Global.’

‘This event showcases the growing significance of cross-border investment and collaboration, and we are pleased to welcome the likes of Berkeley, Regal London and Qatari Diar, who collectively bring a wealth of experience, diverse portfolios, and a strong track record of successful projects.’
