UBS Asset Management's Real Estate & Private Markets (REPM) business has strengthened its presence in the Benelux region, with the appointment of Douwe Vermeulen as a director.
Vermeulen, who will be based in Amsterdam, will support both asset management and transaction activity, with a remit to grow the REPM offering in BeNeLux.
He brings more than eight years’ experience in financial markets, most recently at Intertrust in Amsterdam, where he worked in the Real Estate Business Unit, having joined as a Transaction Manager in 2013.
Prior to this he worked at the established Amsterdam law firm Houthoff Buruma.
