UBS Asset Management (UBS-AM) has appointed Fergus Hicks as a market strategist in its Global Real Estate business.

Hicks, who will be based in London, will be responsible for developing forecast models to assess future relative performance, which will influence allocation decisions for specific strategies and mandates.

 

He joins UBS-AM from Cushman & Wakefield, where he was global head of forecasting, and has more than 15 years' experience in real estate and economic analysis. His former roles include head of EMEA forecasting and economics at JLL and he is an economist with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
