Pan-European alternative investment management firm Tunstall Real Estate Asset Management has appointed Noel Manns as a senior advisor, joining Steve Smith and Gerald Parkes on Tunstall’s advisory board.
With over 35 years of pan European property industry experience, Manns has held multiple senior positions.
Having begun his career with Richard Ellis (now CBRE) he went on to co-found Europa Capital Partners, a business that has carried out more than €9 bn of transactions across Europe, and is now owned by Mitsubishi Estate.
'Noel’s breadth of experience, not just in investment management and real estate finance, but also in the not--for-profit sectors, bring a new additional source of knowledge into Tunstall,' said Roger Clarke, chief executive of Tunstall.
'The appointment of such a highly experienced and well regarded individual as Noel is reflective of the strong ambitions we have for Tunstall and I look forward to working with him as we continue to execute our strategy for growth.'
Manns' current roles include chairing a property company in the west of England; sitting on several property advisory boards including that for the proposed New University in Hereford; acting as a trustee of the Henry Smith Charity and being chairman of the trustees of the Conservative Agents’ Pension Fund.
Previously he has been a member of the board of INREV; of the strategic advisory board of the Investment Property Forum; an advisor to the diocese of London on property matters, and a trustee of a number of charities.
'I have known the team that is building Tunstall for many years and have been very impressed with the progress made and deals they have executed to date,' said Manns. 'This is exactly the sort of young, energetic and innovative new firm I would like to help to grow, and I look forward to working with Roger and his team.'
