The properties include the Charlotten-Carrée office building in Berlin's Mitte, two in Bochum, two in Hamburg and one in Tübingen. Agent Savills acted on behalf of the vendor.
Charlotten-Carrée comprises a total lettable area of 11,300 m2 spread over six floors. It was constructed in 1930 and thoroughly redeveloped in 2001 and is currently almost 100% leased. The asset was bought by Ares together with a 10,240 m2 high-street building at Friesenstraße 1-3.
Markus Gerold Group has taken over two properties in the so-called Technologie-Quartier in Bochum. One of the properties is almost fully occupied while the other is a modern complex at Konrad-Zuse-Straße 10-16 which provides 4,700 m2 of offices on three floors and has an occupancy rate of circa 70%.
