Tristan Capital Partners’ core-plus fund Curzon Capital Partners IV (CCP IV) has acquired a 27,000 m2 office tower in Frankfurt’s banking district for €175 mln.

The 27-storey Garden Tower serves as Société Générale’s German headquarters, while investment advisory company Deutsche Vermögensberatung AG is the second largest tenant.

The building was constructed between 1973 and 1976 as the headquarters of Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen. It was comprehensively refurbished between 2002 and 2005 with a new glass facade and upgraded interior fittings.

Ali Otmar, managing director of investments at Tristan Capital Partners, said: ‘Garden Tower will increase the overall quality of the Fund’s portfolio with its prime core location, high standard of redevelopment and Grade A tenants.’
