Tristan Capital Partners is investing more than DKK 650 mln (€90 mln) in a shopping centre development in one of Copenhagen’s most affluent suburbs.

The 25,650 Galleria centre in Vanløse has been acquired for the EPISO3 fund, advised by Tristan Capital and minority joint venture partner Solstra Capital partners, from privately-held Holberg Fenger Invest.

The building is due to be completed in the autumn of 2016. The site is 5 kilometres west of Copenhagen city centre and next to Vanløse’s main subway, rail and bus stations.

Daniel Harris, managing director for investments at Tristan Capital, said: ‘Vanløse has undergone rapid gentrification since the metro station opened in 2002 and Galleria will create a much needed convenience-oriented service to a community that lacks a strong local retail offer.’
