Hungarian real estate developer Trigranit has put its flagship Bonarka shopping centre on the market. The scheme located in the Polish city of Krakow is said to be worth some EUR 200 mln. According to market sources, the company is looking to sell the entire or a part of its interest in the major shopping centre. 'They will not necessarily sell all of it,' a source says.

Bonarka, which opened its doors in November last year, offers 91,000 m2 of space across 270 shops, cafés, restaurants and other facilities in a restored post-industrial area in the city.

In the near future Trigranit is expected to extend the Bonarka project with the construction of modern A-class office buildings and residential apartment complexes on the site. The entire investment is estimated at EUR 500 mln. Apart from the Bonarka City Center, the company's investments in Poland include the Silesia City Centre project in Katowice, and investments in Bydgoszcz and Poznan that are currently at the preparatory stage.

Also in Poland, railway group PKP is looking for a real estate company to take over the management of its real estate portfolio across the country. The company plans to create a new vehicle to which it will initially transfer real estate assets worth some PLN 500 mln (EUR 128 mln), with a further PLN 500 mln to be added later.
