Philip Mark Evans has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of TriGranit Management Corporation.

The constantly changing economic and financial environment needs new strategy, new impetus, and new management style, the Hungarian-based company said in a statement. Based upon this corporate practice, a British professional with proven track record is given the top position.

The appointment was made by TriGranit chairman Sándor Demján. 'Meeting the ongoing challenges of the changing world economy, developing and executing a winning corporate strategy, the shareholders have chosen a new CEO. Based upon his extensive international experience and reputation, I have a strong confidence in Philip’s professional and management skills,' Demján added.

Evans joined TriGranit Management in December 2011 with a mandate to internationalize the operational arm of the TriGranit Group. With a mixed portfolio in excess of EUR 2 bn spread across seven Central & Eastern European countries, his role is to introduce best practice and standardisation of operational procedures across the group. He has specific responsibility for asset management, leasing, marketing, facilities management, and finance.

Before joining TGM Evans worked for Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate (AFGRE) in Dubai as director group leasing. He has 26-years of experience in real estate.

He has also been a main board member of the British Council of Shopping Center (BCSC) and vice chairman of the Greek Committee of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
