The group ventured into luxury real estate development in the city in 2001. 'The Dubai real estate market has been in constant state of evolution since,’ said Wazir Daredia, executive director and ceo of Trident International. The firm, which is targeting German investors, believes that Dubai is set to become a second-home destination for European individuals.

The 120-floor luxury skyscraper will include penthouses and apartments with each individual units taking up a complete floor of the tower. Hirsch Bedner Associates is undertaking the interior design. The architect is UK-based Aedas. Trident said that it is working on the project with strategic partners such as the luxury brands Azimut Yachts, Bang & Olufsen, Six Senses, and Tiffany.
