US developer Trammell Crow Company (TCC) has announced the appointment of Thierry Bougeard as director and head of Iberia Logistics for the firm.
Based in Barcelona, he will be responsible for the overall direction, strategy, sourcing, acquisition and financing for the development of large-scale logistics projects for the firm throughout Spain and Portugal. He will report to Ian Worboys, TCC’s managing director and head of European Logistics.
Prior to joining TCC, Bougeard served as the head of Industrial and Logistics in Spain for BNP Paribas RE, based in Barcelona. He has also held various senior roles at EXA Real Estate, Insignia Real Estate, and Atisreal. Bougeard is a 30-year industry veteran.
‘Thierry’s knowledge of and deep experience in developing Class A logistics facilities throughout Spain and Portugal made him the ideal leader to spearhead our team and future development projects in these regions,’ said Worboys. ‘His creative expertise in economic analysis of land and asset acquisitions, capital structuring, market research, feasibility analysis, due diligence, leasing, and disposition will enable us to quickly identify and secure deals.’
Trammell Crow Company is building up a European presence and currently has operations in Spain, the UK, Czech Republic and France, with Germany opening imminently.
