UK private investor Topland Group has acquired Capital Tower in Cardiff - the tallest building in Wales, for £12.3 mln (EUR 15.6 mln). The vendor was DTZ Investment Management.

UK private investor Topland Group has acquired Capital Tower in Cardiff - the tallest building in Wales, for £12.3 mln (EUR 15.6 mln). The vendor was DTZ Investment Management.

The 80-metre high tower comprises 17,650 m2 of leasable space that is 94% let to tenants including Admiral Insurance, Tiger Tiger, the government, the Law Society and Hilton Hotels.

Admiral accounts for more than half the income but is due to vacate the building in 2.5 years in favour of a new headquarters.
