Top investors to review European outlook from London, Hamburg and New York

The first stop will be Colliers International's offices at 50 George Street, London, a little more than a week before the Brexit referendum that could result in the UK leaving the European Union. How likely an outcome this is, and what effect would Brexit have on real estate in the UK and Continental Europe will be one of the key themes of the Outlook Europe H2: UK & European Markets briefing on 14 June.

Related questions to be tackled include: Will we see a rebound for the UK investment market after the referendum? What are the strategies best suited for investors at this point in the cycle? Which sectors are likely to outperform?

The panel will include Dr Walter Boettcher and Richard Divall of Colliers International; Jos Short of Internos Global Investor; Philip La Pierre of Union Investment Real Estate and Alexander Fischbaum of AF Advisory.

Hamburg
The second event in the annual PropertyEU H2 Outlook series is hosted by Union Investment in Hamburg on 22 June, on the eve of the Brexit vote in the UK.

Along with the Brexit issue, the panel discussion and networking event will look at the key investment trends, both in Germany and continental Europe. Key issues to be tackled include the likely scenario for the second half of the year and which strategies are best suited for investors at this point in the cycle?

The panellists confirmed so far include specialists Christoph Schumacher and Philip La Pierre from Union Investment Real Estate; Thomas Beyerle of Catella; Sascha Wilhelm of Corestate Capital and Felix Bauer of DREF.

New York
For the second consecutive year PropertyEU Outlook series heads across the Atlantic. This year the third session takes place at the New York offices of international law firm Paul Hastings on 29 June.

The European Real Estate Opportunities seminar is timed to give North American investors an early briefing on the impact of the Brexit result - whether the result is to stay or leave. The panel will include Damian Harrington, regional director of research, Eastern Europe Colliers International; Charles Ostroumoff, director of Arca Property Risk Management; Piotr Mirowski, director - CEE Investment Services at Colliers International in Poland and Bradley A. Olsen, president of US-based Atlantic Partners.

The remit will be to provide valuable insights and local intelligence on the investment outlook, macroeconomy and politics, key occupier and market trends, and information on opportunities across the Continent.
