Skanska’s commercial development unit in CEE has appointed Alexandra Tomášková as managing director for the Czech Republic as of 1 June.
Tomášková will report directly to the CEE team's president and CEO, Katarzyna Zawodna and will also become a member of Skanska CEE's commercial development unit management team.
'We are currently one of the most active developers of modern office space in Prague, and Alexandra has made a significant contribution to this expansion,' said Zawodna. 'Her commitment and eight-year experience at Skanska make her perfect for the MD role. I’m happy that Alexandra will be heading up Skanska Property in the Czech Republic.'
For the past eight years, Tomášková has headed up the leasing and marketing operations for Skanska-developed offices in Prague. As managing director, she will lead the ongoing development of sustainable office projects in Prague and will also be leasing & asset director for the Czech Republic unit.
Tomášková will be replacing Marie Passburg, who is returning to Sweden to become the regional manager of Skanska's residential development business there.
