BNP Paribas Real Estate has appointed Tom Stanley as national head of development & planning, responding to increased demand for infrastructure and regeneration projects in the UK.
Based in London, Stanley will join the current 65-person team, working closely with the head of national planning Caroline McDade, head of London development Paul Nichols, head of development and strategic land agency Julian Gaynor, head of development viability and affordable housing Anthony Lee, and head of Bristol planning Kevin Hunt.
Stanley brings with him five years of experience at Knight Frank, where he served as regional head of development land and planning, leading the South West team, and regional board member.
Additionally, he has vast professional experience in strategic land opportunities, including city centre regeneration and infrastructure projects.

Stanley’s appointment follows those of Edward O’Brien as senior director within healthcare & senior living and Argie Taylor as head of International Investment Group.
