Tikehau Investment Management has acquired a 35-asset retail property portfolio in France from private investors for €240 mln.

The transaction was carried out by Tikehau Retail Properties III, a French OPCI collective investment vehicle owned by Paris-based Tikehau IM and institutional investors.

The assets are located in Paris and a number of other regions in France. The portfolio provides 102 retail units over 195,000 m2 of space, which is leased to a mix of French and international retail brands.

French banks Natixis and Crédit Foncier provided senior debt for the investment deal. Catella Asset Management advised Tikehau and will provide asset management services for the acquired portfolio.

Tikehau IM's real estate team has €550 mln of assets under management after closing four transactions since the beginning of 2014.
