The largest move of the week (18-22 February 2013) saw Thierry Leleu, formerly GE Capital Real Estate's managing director in Europe, and the firm's 20-strong team Polish team join Valad Europe.
Leleu replaces David Kirkby, Valad Europe's current head of funds management, who is taking on the newly created role of chief investment officer.
The appointment follows Valad Europe's acquisition of the management of GE Capital Real Estate's €500 mln Polish retail property fund. In all a 20-strong team is moving from GE Capital Real Estate to Valad Europe.
Also, Jones Lang LaSalle announced that Tomasz Trzoslo, currently head of its capital markets business across Central & Eastern Europe (CEE), is to become its new managing director for Poland.
