The Howard de Walden Estate, the owner of 92 acres of London’s West End including Marylebone High Street – one of London’s prime shopping and leisure locations, has announced the appointment of Laura Jockers as its head of sustainability.
Jockers will be responsible for developing the business’s sustainability strategy across its business operations and £4.6 bn of assets in London’s Marylebone.
She joins from JLL where she was global sustainability and research lead. Prior to this, she worked as an associate director in JLL’s Upstream Sustainability Services Team.
‘Laura’s appointment further strengthens the business’s commitment to its environmental objectives,’ said Mark Kildea, interim Chief Executive at The Howard de Walden Estate. ‘It follows the appointment of Ashley Cox as Head of Customer Engagement, and is part of an ongoing strategy to improve all sustainability, community and regulatory aspects of the Estate’s operations.’
