Student housing specialist International Campus has broken ground on its latest student and young professional residential scheme, The Fizz Frankfurt Sommerhoff.
Representing an investment volume of around €50 mln, the project in Frankfurt's Gutleutviertel is expected to open in time for the 2019 winter semester with 332 apartments. It is being constructed on a 4,300 m2 plot of land and includes 106 parking spaces.
'Following our successfully established The Fizz Frankfurt Gallus on Mainzer Landstraße 323, we can now get to work on The Fizz Frankfurt Sommerhoff, our second project in the financial capital,' commented Horst Lieder, CEO of International Campus.
'The plus points of the residential Sommerhoffpark project in the Gutleutviertel are its close proximity to the Main, public access to green areas and attractive architecture.'
The scheme's ten to eleven above-ground floors will comprise residential accommodation and service ameneties spanning around 17,150 m2, targeted at students and young professionals.
The architect is Frankfurt's Magnus Kaminiarz & Cie.
