UK-based property firm Telereal has been given the go-ahead for a £74 mln (EUR 99 mln) office redevelopment in the City of London. The HKR Architects-designed scheme has been given planning permission for the redevelopment of the former BT Exchange on Fore Street into a 13 storey, 34,000 m[sup]2[/sup] office development, Property Week reported.

HKR won a design competition for the commission in June 2006, beating major architects firms including Sheppard Robson, Hamilton Associates and Horden Cherry Lee.
