The partnership will aim to seek new store locations, focusing on Germany’s main cities including Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Cologne, Frankfurt and Dusseldorf.

Ted Baker currently has 16 concessions in department stores across Germany.

Helge Strobel, chairman of the board of the Comfort Group, commented: ‘Our joint mandate for Ted Baker proves once again the significance of Comfort's cooperation with Cushman & Wakefield.’

‘In the past 12 months alone, we have concluded contracts with five international clients, who have been brought to Comfort through the unique global network of Cushman & Wakefield, and for whom we have found and contractually secured custom-fit and attractive sites in Germany,’ Strobel added.

Mark Barrett, head of EMEA cross border retail at Cushman & Wakefield, said: ‘We will be working with landlords in prime retail locations in Germany’s main cities, where Ted Baker will sit alongside other leading international brands’.

‘Cushman & Wakefield’s partnership with Comfort provides a powerful combination of global cross border retail expertise and an unrivalled local network,’ concluded Barrett.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Cross Border Retail team is also advising Ted Baker on opening new stores across Spain, France and Portugal.
