Developer-investor Trammell Crow Company (TCC) has submitted a planning application to Milton Keynes Council for a 19.4-acre logistics site comprising three speculative logistics buildings totaling 340,000 sq ft (31,587 m2), at the former site of the Arcadia distribution centre in Milton Keynes to the north west of London.

The three buildings will offer 221,000 sq ft, 71,000 sq ft and 46,000 sq ft.

Mike Forster, head of UK Logistics at Trammell Crow Company, said: 'This is a major milestone as we look to develop the former Arcadia distribution site - part of our active European development programme. Milton Keynes is a sought-after logistics location, and the redevelopment will allow us to create a number of new employment opportunities in an area with excellent transport infrastructure.'

TCC bought the site in the summer in its first uk site acquisition for a logistics park. Construction is expected to begin in Q2 2022 with an expected completion date of Q2 2023.
