International law firm Taylor Wessing has expanded its real estate and restructuring practice in Central and Eastern Europe with the appointment of Pawel Kuglarz as a partner.

Based in the firm’s Warsaw office, Kuglarz specialises in real estate and restructuring and also has experience in dispute resolution, advising clients both on litigation and arbitration. He joins from Beiten Burkhart/Wolf Theiss, where he worked for over 15 years.

Kuglarz is the third partner to be appointed at Taylor Wessing in the CEE region in recent months. Clemens Bärenthaler joined as a partner in real estate from DLA Piper and Michaela Petritz-Klar joined as head of tax from Schönherr in September.

Pawel is a member of the Constitutional Commission, director of the Austrian law school at the Jagiellonen University in Krakow, board member of INSOL Europe (International Association of Restructuring, Insolvency & Bankruptcy Professionals) and member of the Polish Foundation for Mortgage Loans. He has also been on the supervisory board of several quoted companies such as the Polish Railways PKP.
