A fund managed by Tatra Asset Management has carried out its first major office transaction in the Slovak market this year by acquiring three buildings in central Bratislava from developer HB Reavis.
The properties are City Business Center III - V, two seven-storey buildings and one thirteen-storey building comprising a total of 25,000 m2 of leasable area. The tenant list includes Swiss Re, Johnson & Johnson, Sygic, Schneider Electric and HB Reavis.
The investment volume was not disclosed. Colliers International acted for the buyer, part of Tatra Bank, which in turn is owned by Austria's Raiffeisen banking group.
The vendor, HB Reavis, was granted a €64.5 mln loan extension on the five-building project in February 2013.
'This significant transaction is the first major investor activity in Slovakia this year. But we have recorded more signals that we can expect further growth in the volumes during the rest of the year, ' said Colliers director Ermanno Boeris.
