Asset manager Syntrus Achmea Real Estate & Finance has acquired a shopping centre in the central Dutch town of Hilversum from insurer Dela.
The purchase price was not disclosed, but information filed with the Dutch land registry reveals Syntrus Achmea paid €46.9 mln for the centre, known as Kerkelanden.
Kerkelanden comprises retail 27 units covering a total 9,700 m² which are fully let. Supermarkets Albert Heijn and Lidl are the anchor tenants.
The deal follows the acquisition of neighbourhood shopping centre Westerkoog in Koog aan de Zaan, in northern Holland, in July. Dela was also the seller in that transaction.
Syntrus Achmea was advised on both transactions by Retail Capital, with Nauta Dutilh assisting on the legal side and CVO Group providing technical assistance.
