Syntrus Achmea Real Estate said the acquisition fits its strategy of focusing on large shopping centre and stand-alone retail premises in A locations. The Dutch asset manager has over EUR 14 bn of assets under management and describes itself as the largest property investor in the Dutch market. The firm has introduced three international property funds, aimed at the European, North American and Asian property markets.
