Swiss Prime Site has agreed to take over senior housing and geriatric facilities provider Boas Senior Care.
The company is a subsidiary of Boas-Yakhin Holding SA and the leading company in the field of senior care in French-speaking Switzerland.
The acquisition gives Tertianum Group country-wide coverage in the assisted living segment, following its acquisition of SENIOcare, based in German-speaking Wattwil, in October 2015.
Swiss Prime Site signed a purchase agreement to acquire 100% of the shares in the company, which realised revenues of CHF 70 mln (€64.9 mln) in 2014.
The company manages a total of 15 operating facilities with 632 geriatric care beds and 176 apartments. It will continue to be managed as a regional subsidiary of Tertianum Group AG, which manages a total of 2,492 geriatric care beds and around 1,600 apartments.
