Swiss Life REIM has hired Nicolas Kert from asset manager Amundi to develop the company's offering for private retail clients in France.
Kert, previously director of Retail Business at Amundi, has more than 17 years of experience in real estate asset management, first at Generali and then at Group Crédit Agricole and Amundi.
He has been appointed to the post of director of the SCPI and retail OPCI funds, reporting directly to Frédéric Bôl and focusing on building up a team for the group's retail offer by the end of 2017.
'It is for us a very important step which will allow us to expand our retail products offer and add a feather to our hat with the new SCPI range. We will soon request an agreement extension to the AMF for this purpose,' said Frédéric Bôl, CEO of Swiss Life REIM (France).
Founded in 2007 by Frédéric Bôl, the French office of Swiss Life REIM manages €7.3 bn of assets in the country.
