Swedish local government pension fund KPA has acquired three housing projects comprising 330 apartments in Stockholm, Sundbyberg and Järfällas from construction and development group NCC.

Swedish local government pension fund KPA has acquired three housing projects comprising 330 apartments in Stockholm, Sundbyberg and Järfällas from construction and development group NCC.

The transaction, which is being structured as a forward-funding deal, amounts to some SEK 667 mln (€77 mln). The transfer of ownership is planned for 1 October.

The apartments in Barkarby (Järfälla) are completed and occupied. The project in Aspudden (Stockholm) is due to start in the third quarter of 2013. In Ursvik (Sundbyberg), NCC plans to launch two projects at the end of the year when the building permit is expected to be in place.
