Swedish investment company Hemsö Fastighets has invested €24 mln to acquire two retirement homes in Berlin and Cologne.
The assets were sold by subsidiaries of listed Austrian property company Conwert Immobilien.
Hemsö, a 50/50 joint venture held by Stockholm-listed property company Kungsleden and the Swedish Third Pension Insurance Fund (AP3), now owns a portfolio of 22 nursing homes in Germany, divided between nine operators and valued at €200 mln.
