Swedish-listed residential investor D. Carnegie & Co has inked a deal to purchase three residential portfolios in Sweden from Fastighets AB Balder for SEK 1,040 mln (€110 mln).
The transaction comprises 42 residential assets in Arboga, Köping and Tranås amounting to 1,681 apartments.
'Through this acquisition we strengthen our position on the Swedish real estate market and the acquired properties fit well in our value-creating business model,' commented Ulf Nilsson, CEO of D. Carnegie & Co.
D. Carnegie said that the agreed property value of the total portfolio was SEK 1,420 mln (€150 mln). The assets comprise some 152,000 m2, of which 124,700 m2 represents residential space. The transaction is a share deal which includes the existing property management organisation.
