AMF Fastigheter, the property investment and development investment arm of one of Sweden’s biggest pension funds AMF, has elected Gustaf Hermelin to its board.

AMF Fastigheter, the property investment and development investment arm of one of Sweden’s biggest pension funds AMF, has elected Gustaf Hermelin to its board.

Hermelin has over 20 years experience in senior positions within the real estate industry, including as CEO of Klövern, where he worked since 2002. ‘ With his long and thorough understanding of the real estate industry Gustaf Hermelin will provide the board additional expertise in efforts to further develop AMF Property,´said Chairman Peder Hasslev and Head Asset Management and vice president AMF. ´Gustaf Hermelin will play a very important role in our continued development. Real estate is an important asset for AMF and we strive to increase our real estate investment substantially over time.´

AMF Real Estate, a subsidiary of AMF Pension, develops and manages a property portfolio with a market capitalization of approximately SEK 25 bn (EUR 2.7 bn). The focus is on offices and downtown retail in Stockholm and Gothenburg.
