'The establishment of an office in Helsinki as well as launching our third fund will mean an increased number of transactions in Finland, which has led to a need to strengthen the organisation within several areas,' said Patrick Gylling, partner and head of operations in Finland.
The company has recruited Jonas Ahlblad as a director, starting in October 2010; Robert Landtman as an investment manager, starting in August 2010; Nina Cainberg as an associate; Robert Laurent as business controller; Matti-Pekka Sävelkoski as senior associate finance; Hannele Saaristo-Pouta as office manager.
In March 2010, the company launched its third fund, Sveafastigheter Fund III, raising close to EUR 90 mln in commitments in a first closing.
Also in Finland, Leimdörfer said that it is expanding its Finnish organisation with the appointment of Mikko Iivonen as the company's new CEO, following the departure of Jonas Ahlblad, founder and partner of Leimdörfer Finland. Mikko Iivonen has long experience in the Finnish real estate market, most recently as Portfolio Director at Dutch investor Redevco and prior to that at Aberdeen and Catella. In addition to Iivonen, Leimdörfer has strengthened its team by recruiting Tommi Sievers and Pauliina Dravantti as analysts.
Leimdörfer is an independent Nordic real estate investment bank specialised on property transactions advisory.
