Gropyus, the Austrian residential proptech platform, has appointed Alexandra Wittmann as its new chief financial officer (CFO).
Wittmann, who studied business administration, assumes responsibility for the areas of finance and procurement.

In addition to many years of experience in the manufacturing industry, she also brings in-depth expertise in the operational area and strategy development. She will perfectly complement the Gropyus management team,' said Markus Fuhrmann, CEO of Gropyus.
Wittmann brings international know-how in various financial management positions at market-leading industrial and technology companies including Hoerbiger Compression Technology, Riedel Crystal of America, and Colt Technology Services.
Wittmann was most recently executive vice president and CFO of the compression technology division at Hoerbiger with over 2,300 employees. Before that, Wittmann worked internationally in various management positions, including as CFO of Colt Technology Services in Vienna and Zurich and for Riedel Crystal of America in New York.
Wittmann completed her studies at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and completed a training in organiaational development and leadership at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.

Gropyus seeks digitise the housing market via its platform, which promotes access to homes built from hybrid wood.
