Pan-European logistics specialist Sunrise Real Estate has promoted Lukas Toepfer to principal, to lead the firm’s acquisitions across Germany and the Netherlands.
Toepfer joined Sunrise in 2021 as part of the acquisition team. Since then, he has been involved in 40 transactions across nine countries, with a total value of circa €2.8 bn.
In his new role, he will be spearheading Sunrise’s acquisition efforts in Germany and the Netherlands, sourcing investment opportunities that include ground-up developments, as well as refurbishment projects and value-add asset management initiatives.
Prior to joining Sunrise, Toepfer was an investment analyst at Valor Real Estate Partners, which he joined following roles at JP Morgan and Barclays in both London and Frankfurt.
