State Street Global Advisors Ireland (SSGA), on behalf of real estate fund Weesperstraat 6 BV, has acquired the office building 'Maincourt' at La Guardiaweg 4 in Amsterdam for €24.35 mln.
The seller is a fund affiliated with MCAP Global Finance (UK) LLP, the European subsidiary of New York headquartered Marathon Asset Management.
The property is located in Amsterdam Sloterdijk and comprises approximately 5,600 m2 of recently refurbished office space and 80 parking spaces.
The building is leased on a long-term basis to Bouwinvest, a specialist asset manager in real estate for pension funds and insurers. In addition to an energy label A, Maincourt has a BREEAM Very Good certificate.
