Lawlor has become a partner and head of real estate having served as investment director of UK real estate transactions for over five years at Aviva Investors, and prior to that was at Cushman & Wakefield.

Anh has also been appointed as investment manager, senior associate, and will work alongside Lawlor in the real estate team, managing the group’s real estate access vehicles and direct funds. He was previously at advisory firm Cortland, where he was responsible for investment analysis, transactions, and treasury management of the firm’s European platform.

He also had spells at BCCAP Capital, Urban Exposure and BNP Paribas, giving him experience across all real estate sub-sectors in origination, fund commitments and debt and equity transactions.

Pinto said: ‘The development of our private investment activities, including real estate, is a key element in our strategy to serve entrepreneurs across their needs.’

Last year, Stanhope merged with FWM Holdings to create a larger group with 140 people in seven offices and $27 bn (€27 bn) of AUM.
