Standard Life Investments, the Edinburgh-based global investment manager, has strengthened its real estate research and strategy team with the appointment of Mark Clacy-Jones as fund strategist.

Clacy-Jones will be responsible for supervising global strategy across the Standard Life Investments real estate funds. He has 10 years’ experience in the industry and joins from Knight Frank, where he was head of data and analytics and commercial research. Previous roles include vice president and head of applied research at MSCI Real Estate and research manager and then head of indices at IPD.

‘Mark’s valuable industry experience and skillset will complement our established real estate team here at Standard Life Investments,’ said Anne Breen, Head of Real Estate Research and Strategy. ‘His deep understanding of international real estate market dynamics and practical experience means he will instantly add value to our investment team.’
