STAM Europe has expanded its management team with the appointment of Samantha Sudre Roux as deputy CEO.
Sudre Roux joined the company in March 2014 as investor relations director to develop STAM's product range and investor client base.
Over the past 10 years, she has been involved in developing the company's core/core+ business with the launch of two investment funds - the Madeleine and Opéra funds - totaling around €550 mln of equity capital contributed by European institutional investors and deployed in the tertiary and residential sectors in France.
She will contribute to strategic thinking and to strengthening the group's internal organisation, and assumes coresponsibility for defining and deploying STAM's CSR and ESG strategy.
Edward Bates, president & CEO, said: 'We have been working together for 10 years and so I am confident that she will bring a wealth of experience, expertise and the ability to lead new projects. Samantha is a real asset to the management team as we pursue STAM's ambitious development plan.'
A graduate of the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University in New York, Sudre Roux began her career in hotel consulting in the USA, then in Europe, based in London, with HVS International and then JLL Hotels.
In 2001, she decided to broaden her scope to the real estate sector by joining CBRE Global Investors (CBRE REIM) in Paris. In 2004, she became responsible for investor relations, marketing and capital raising in Europe for all the group's investment products worldwide.
STAM Europe employs 22 people and had €1.6 bn in assets under management at December 31, 2023.
