Swedish pension fund SPP has purchased the development project Hotel Hagaplan in Stockholm from Skanska for SEK 970m (€102 mln).
The office and hotel complex, which totals around 16,200 m2 over 17 storeys, will be LEED certified at gold level.
Located in Hagastaden, next to the Hagaplan square and a planned new metro station, the new building will be completed in November 2017.
Elite Hotels of Sweden has signed a 20-year lease for 11 floors comprising 222 hotel rooms, restaurant and conference rooms. Stockholm County Council has signed a 10-year lease for the offices on five floors.
