Finnish property company Sponda said on Monday that it has signed a new EUR 82 mln credit facility with German lender Helaba. The five-year credit facility will enable Sponda to refinance its bonds that mature in 2010. For Helaba, this facility further underlines its commitment to the Nordic markets. The interest rate margin on the credit facilities are in line with current market rates, the company said.

Additionally, the company said it has extended EUR 250 mln of credit facilities for a further 12 and 24 months respectively. Following the agreement, a EUR 150 mln loan will now mature in 12 months time and another EUR 100 mln loan in 24 months. The company said it has no other long-term loans maturing before spring 2011.
