Portuguese family-owned real estate group Spintos has kick started a residential project in Portugal with 700 flats for an estimated investment of €100 mln.
The construction of the first lot of the Jardins da Seara development in Vila Nova de Gaia started in February with 135 flats, 60% of which are already sold.
Located in a 70,000 m2 area known as Quinta da Seara, next to the National 222 highway, this is the first of a total of 10 lots, to be built over the next five years.
Lot 6 is now under construction, consisting of one, two and three bedroom flats, in addition to over 2,000 m2 of gardens, with completion due for the start of 2025.

The buildings will feature balconies with areas of up to 18 m2, storage rooms, and air conditioning.
The gated community, designed by architect Paulo Moreira, includes gardens, a lounge, leisure area for children and a gym.
The project features excellent connectivity, as it is five minutes from the centre of Vila Nova de Gaia, 7 minutes from Ponte do Freixo and near Ponte do Infante, with good access to the main roads and motorways.
The Jardins da Seara is located near green areas such as the Lavandeira Park, the Biological Park and the Santo Inácio Zoo Farm, as well as the future Multipurpose Pavilion and the metrobus.
Real estate agent Chave Nova is responsible for the management of the property.
