Austrian real estate developer Sparkassen Immobilien has acquired the new headquarters building of local oil and gas group OMV and the Courtyard Marriott hotel, which is located on the same site.
Austrian real estate developer Sparkassen Immobilien has acquired the new headquarters building of local oil and gas group OMV and the Courtyard Marriott hotel, which is located on the same site.
No financial details for the deals were disclosed. Sparkassen Immobilien said that it plans to sell OMV's old headquarters in the first half of this year to BLM-IG Bautraeger GmbH and has already agreed the price of the deal.
The new OMV head office, with a total of 47,000 m2 of lettable space, was completed in January 2009. The Courtyard Marriott is a four-star hotel with 251 rooms and suites and was designed by Zechner + Zechner architects.
