Spanish retail specialist Neinver has announced the opening of its first outlet centre in the Czech Republic, trading under the name of Prague The Style Outlets.
The new centre is part of a joint venture between Neinver and The Prague Outlet signed in 2016 to create the largest outlet centre in the country. The scheme, which represents a total investment of €70 mln, features over 100 stores across 20,000 m2 of gross lettable space and 2,400 parking spaces.
Neinver is planning a second phase of development to increase the total commercial space to 30,000 m2 in the coming years.
'This centre marks a major milestone in our expansion plan in Europe, adding one more centre to our current portfolio of 15 outlet centres,' said Neinver's CEO Daniel Losantos.
Romana Benešová, CEO of Kaprain Group, a major investor in Prague The Style Outlets added: 'From the beginning of our involvement, we put trust in the combination of a unique building in excellent location, the vast experience of the developer and the specific know-how of the centre operator."
The scheme is the latest addition to The Style Outlets international platform, which now operates in 10 European locations including cities such as Madrid, Barcelona and Milan, with new openings planned for Amsterdam in the Netherlands, the French Alps near the Swiss border, and Werl in Germany.
