Coca Cola's Spanish unit has sold its Madrid headquarters to Spanish property company Sotohenar for an undisclosed amount. According to a statement by property advisor Cushman & Wakefield, Coca-Cola will remain a tenant on a three-year leasing contract.

Sotohenar is planning to develop a further 20,000 m2 of offices on the site, which currently provides some 11,000 m2 of space, Spanish newspaper Cinco Dias reported. Meanwhile, Coca Cola is planning to develop a new office building to house its new headquarter in Madrid's Campo de las Naciones.
